DPE Values

These are the values of the DPE Club, based on the California Democratic Party Education Platform

 

1. Free, high-quality public education is a fundamental right and a cornerstone of our democracy.

2. Equity and diversity matter: every student deserves well-funded schools and the support they need to succeed, regardless of background, first language, achievement, or ZIP code.
    

3. Public dollars belong in public schools; we oppose vouchers and charter schools.
    

4. Strong student supports such as mental health services, nutrition programs, and community schools ensure every child can thrive.

5. Evidence-based education serves our students and helps them grow.
